Door handle lock barrel

When i bought my golf a couple of months back i noticed that my key did not open my drivers side door handle.

I think it must have been changed at some point as someone has tried to nick the car at some point.

Is there anyone or a company that can make me one?

I never really minded it until my alarm went on the blink and now i have to get in via the pass door.

you can take both handles off and swap the passenger lock into the driver handle in the short term.

then you could look at re-tumbling the lock to match the main key (assuming its not a fault in the lock itself!)

what i would do is delock the passenger side using a rear handle, then get the remote locking working again. on mine i have delocked both handles! The boot lock is still there for emergency access
