Bonnet/hood release cable jumped out of handle

I hear this is a common problem, but couldn't find a solution anywhere. I have a situation where the bonnet release cable has jumped out of handle, and  so I can't open the bonnet.



How to I reattach the cable to the handle?

unscrew the handle from the car, slip the cable back in, reattach handle to car :)
