Which performance chip

Hello all,

after driving a friend's upgraded vw golf mk1 gti, I decided to add a performance chip to my vw golf mk1 1.8 2h 93 model engine. I came across two performance chips:

I was trying to find the all favourite AMS chip, but no luck. Of the above, which one do you propose? In general, no other modifications have been done on my engine, original airbox, original everything, and 125.000 miles on the clock.

What do you propose I do?

I think most of us run the k-jet fuel system here so a performance chip makes no differance and a waste of money as the fuel system is very basic.

There might someone using the digifant fuel system which may be able to help?

Are you running the digifant 2 fuel injection as thats what the chips in your link are for…. and from the USA?

My mk1 came originally from the netherlands, and is a digifant 2, hence the chip fits. I own the 037906022EN ECU by SIEMENS.

I will post videos before and after the chip upgrade, mainly throttle response and 0-60. Hopefully we should all get an idea of the chip's performance. I ordered the vw_pilot chip. I found numerous reviews. 90% of them say the chip made a difference, 10% that they could not define it.
