Replacement engine

Hmm seems a little too high to me, dont think mine ever gets upto that, do you run an oil cooler? not sure how much difference they make as i have always had them

I think you're right my oil temp. before the work was done was running at about 80- 90 . I can get the temp down by altering the timing on the dizzy, but then I get a tingling noise from the head. I'm going to change the oil temp sensor tomorrow- I don't trust garages maybe they swapped on over.

You should realy have the timing properly set up by strobe before you do anything else, not a good idea to mess about with the timing

Ok storm I confess :cry: the timing was  probably set up correctly when it left the garage but a tingling noise was noticed on accelleration so I experimented and noticed that the tingling went when I moved the dizzy to the left. What do you think?
