Good morning people..i go by the name of Nathan also known as Nate

what advice can be given to me and how much is it going to cost me?

Not that up on CTi but the 1st thing I would be looking at is the fuel filler neck for holes, shine a torch down there and maybe look inside the fuel tank for rust and dirt, it may be a blockage in the fuel system causing your problem.
How old are the spark plugs, HT leads, dissy cap, rotor arm , air filter and fuel filter?

Spark plugs are not that old also not that young..but i was told to change my distributor cap..but i dont want to change that and then its the fuel pump or something about the fuel...i do get get a fuel smell now and then but only if i put my foot down on the accel..its fuel injected also

Dissy cap and the rotor arm do wear out and should be replaced every couple of years, HT leads are also over looked and best replaced after 4 years or 40,000 miles. Fuel filter should also be replace every 20,000 miles, air filter changed every year.

Your problem could be something else but a good service won't do the car any harm.

All of the aforementioned parts are cheap to buy so for £50 you could do all of the, anyway and it's not going to do any harm
