Fuel Injection - pipe work lay out

Post

Hi All
I have an '84 Cabrio (DX Engine) that clearly has had a great deal spent on it over the years and has also in equal measure a number of short cuts taken on it!!

At present it starts and drives - but misfires and is not tuned correctly.

According to the well written info on site I'm starting with the simple and well know faults and moving through them and  making progress, that said I still ave a problem and would like some help.

There is a breather pipe that comes from the inlet manifold - between cylinder 3 and 4

Mine has a nut screwed in the end and therefore it's not attached to anything - it should be?

As I have no other blocked off or missing "holes" and the pipe is around 150mm - I have no idea where it should be attached.

Haynes manuals do not clearly show a "pipework layout" diagram and a mates Scirocco is subtley different

I'd be really grateful if someone could provide me with a diagram to show the corrrect routing for the FI plumbing(!) on my car
