Missfire - Only 3 cylinders firing on idle

Post

Hello

My 1.8 Clipper is only firing on 3 cylinders on idle but still runs fine when I put the foot down. I have changed the leads, spark plugs, dizzy cap and rotor arm but cylinder 4 is still not firing. The lead sparks and I have had a pressure test done and all 4 cylinders were giving the same results.

Any ideas what to check next?

Cheers
Steve

Have you tried swapping the lead and spark plug from No.3 to No.4? If still no spark try old dissy and rotor arm again. The engine only needs 3 things to run - Fuel, Air and spark, if you have a spark start looking at fuel and air.

I have swapped the lead and plug between 3 and 4 and 4 still had no spark. I had this problem with the old dizzy cap and arm aswell as the new parts.

If air or fuel was the issue would I have the issue on just the 1 cylinder?
