Doing timing. Two marks on cam sprocket. Pictures.

Which one of the markings do I use?

I thought I had my timing done correctly, but the car will not fire. It's a 1.5l JB engine.

I used the marking on the outside of the sprocket (away from center of engine) to set the timing, but the car will not fire.

Then I see that the sprocket also has a marking on the inside. These two markings do are on completely different place on the sprocket.

So, what is the correct marking?

Its the marking on the inside (nearest the engine) The mark should be level with the top of the head not the rocker cover.
