2ltr 8valve dizzy issue

I have a 2ltr 2e bottom end that I'm putting a mk1 gti head on it and running carbs question is what dizzy should I use I was going to use the 2e one but it doesnt have a vacuum advance. is it alright to run with out a vacuum advance?

use mk1/2 1.8 kjet gti dizzy with TSR adaptor ring and 2.0 dizzy gear swapped on
