Looking for a test fitter

For some HT leads we have had produced at VW Heritage

The are to fit 1.1-1.8 engines up to 1984 with a socket type cap and coil and pin type plugs.

I would just need you to check them for length and fit, i am happy with the quality at this point but we were having issues with other suppliers lengths

You can keep these to run on your car after too if you can provide me some pictures.

It's a 74.

I suspect your leads accept the screw pin type spark plugs? The pic on the right. That's what my car is supposed to have I think.

My new plugs have a bonded end, like the one on the left… and before anyone says, mine do not unscrew. :)

Hi

Yeah you are right the left type is the ones for these leads. Unsure which leads the screw tops would take.

Mr Funk, can you help with your GTI?

Reading the title of this (Looking for a test fitter) post made me think of something a bit silly and similar to a poem or rhyme we used to say as kids but here's my version.

I'm not a Test Fitter
I'm a Test Fitters son
I'm only Test Fitting
Until the Test Fitter comes
And I've got a Mk1

Well it won't win any prizes, but as things are quite around here right now it's better than nothing.  :$

Well maybe not!
