Here's a few pics of the family owned Focus RS. I had the car from new back in 2003 and sold it on to my parents in 2005 when my first little one was born. It's pretty much been in storage until then coming out only in the summer. My Dad died last year and with my Mum recently having a knee op it's going to be sold this year.
Anyway here's a few pics. of her. Pants time to be selling one of these as the market is awful for them. Wish she could keep it for another 5 years. Sensibly modded to 285bhp.

Cheers Chris,
My folks always loved a fast car especially Fords for some reason. Over the years they owned a Tickford Capri, RS Turbo, Escort Cosworth and the Focus RS.
Will be sad to see it go as there aren't many left now. Only ever 4501 made worldwide.

What sort of money do they fetch
The new rs is very nice
It's on the list of cars the own/drive
How come you can't keep it?
It's only worth about 9.5k at the moment despite the mileage. Needs to be sold now as my Dad is no longer here my mum needs to dough as she is retired.
The MK1 is a lot different to drive than the MK2. The MK2 is more of a blamonge and heavy whereas the MK1 is fun, simple and raw.

Why can you have it back tho? Give you mum the cash
Sad about your dad but would be a shame to let his last car go
Wish I could JB but my spare cash is tied up in my MK1 20v project along with 2 kids, a wife, 2 cats and a dog

Sorry to hear about your dad mate.
I quite like the mk1 rs.
Your dad had quite a good taste in cars.
I'd love a tickford capri or an escort cosworth but they are fords and i'd never hear the end of it. plus they are loads of money and I already have too many cars!

Mate….. Beg, borrow and steal, do what you have to do, but dont let it go. Cars of that age and condition are few and far between

Yeah I know mate. Part of me wants it to go to someone who will use it and cherish it for a long time but I think most of them now have been heavily modded and have had more names on the logbook than Katie Price
I am due to see the old girl this weekend to have a chat about it but I think she will be sold
