MY Scimitar project.

Here is some pictures of my scimitar that I have been messing around with for the last couple of months.
Still not sure what to do with it when all done as need the room so could be up for sale soon.

Yes it has recaro seats that I think came from a vauxhall and also removable steering wheel.

1600 cvh with high lift cab and webber carbs four branch manifold coupled to stainless exhaust.

Sat on coil overs all round and Mgf wheels at the moment.

I also have the fold down roof for it so can use in summer and winter.
Would like to hear what you all think about the car.
Cheers Andy.

If this is living the dream I would like to know who's dream.

Not seen one of those for a long while. Bet it's nippy? What's it like on the twisty stuff?

It does handle very well in the dry and to be honest is a very well set up car.

When you need power it is  there what with fibreglass body and tuned up XR2 engine
would love to have a go in one of the later models with the 1.8 turbo engine from
the nissan.

The only issue I have is that when you take the hard top off there is no roll bar so that
makes you slow down.

Cheers Andy.

Yeah I can imagine having a roll bar would give you peace of mind. 1.8 turbo must be rapid!

Yes there is no better speed control device than the fought that if you flip it
the first contact with the road will be you head.

Just need some new wheels for it as the ofset on the mgf wheels is to large and causes it to rub in the
inner arch.
