Lots of cash mate i could have gone for a 60s Van and had loads and loads of choice but me being me wanted a Wolfsburg made Van which i believe ended in March 56 i also really wanted Kombi rather than a Panel so i was up against it any earlier and we are in Barn-door territory and they are ££££££££££££.
So in answer it was between 10K-15K and that is all im saying lol.

Just need to get a few more cars and the fleet will be complete lol.
Thanks for the comments.

The sign writing was not OG i say was as it is off now and i brought it already dropped and narrowed it is on a Creative Eng "Weedeater" 4" Beam and also a rack and pinion conversion by them too.
It really is good fun to drive and the minute you park it up people come and talk to you and start touching it !!!!!!
I thought you would like it Jaime.

Here's a pic of my brothers '60 double door panel that he restored, he added the early small window rear hatch and early engine lid with 3rd brakelight like yours.
Dove blue's the best colour. :punk:
You've got the best of both worlds there, whenever I've had aircooled I get an urge for something faster, and vice versa!

I think there both fun to drive in different ways the 20vt although "only" 200bhp is an animal especially in the wet and is great fun when boy racers try to beat the old car off the lights, and the Van is like a social experiment in the way loads of people wave and toot their horn and when you stop random people start talking to you.
All great fun now all i need to do is get a Intergralle,Quattro and 356 (A) and my dream garage will be complete.
