Alfa 155 V6 skinny

This is my 155 V6 skinny in white I got it from a member on alfa155.org which I'm will know on. It needed a replacement engine which I got from someone else on the forum


This was taken on a forum run out around Derbyshire it was about a month after I'd done the engine swop


This was after I've loads to it koni adjustables all corners, pi lowering springs, painted bumpers/boot lid/headlight trims, stickers all removed, hid's and tsw 17"s from my other white 155


It's off the road at the moment as the bolts have broken when I was replacing the aux belt tensioner last week and my spare mount has one broken in it

Gotta love an Alfa

Shame they're famous for reliability issues but their styling is awesome IMO. Nice car mate.

It's always starts and drives lovely plus everytime I drive it  it puts a smile on my face

Yep has a full stainless exhaust it sounds great

i had a 156 2.5 V6 24v, was the best engine and best sounding engine i have ever had in a car, loved it!

Got a mate who does billet alloy fuel rails for the v6's

Was that about 3 to 4 years ago?? Because looking at that photo I think my mate bought it from your mate. He sold it about 6 months later and within 4 month the new crashed it up

Yep my mate pete bought it. It was a shame because it drove very nice and your friend spent some money on it

Nice  my Italian mate  local to me has the 164 v6 cloverleaf its something special to.. Can't beat there detail

Adjusted the exhaust tappets and checked the inlet as the tappets are shimmed………. all are on the top of the their clearance's. The engine sounds lovely again

Can't beat the purr of a well set up Alfa engine    

Fitted a tow bar and found out I need to weld boot floor, rear inner wings, nearside rear outer wing and both floor pans so this be off the road soon as mot needs doing in 6 weeks    

Plus had a blowout on the rear last week on the M5

Painted the silverstone jack up kit and prep'd the silvertone spoiler
