You can get a really nice 51/52 plate one for £7k (my bro got one) and you can do a surprising amount of stuff on it yourself.
After all, Porsche practically own VW anyway

E46 M3 is a cracking car, I loved my carbon black one :-)
Seat Leon FR or cupra but the older shaped car upto 2006, my wife had the diesel FR and it was great fun.
Either civic type r
Or a R32 :-)
