2002 golf 1. 4 BCA engine

not really a project but  maybe somebody can help.My golf is in bad health.it seized on me by means of a blocked oil pump.now i've been told you cant put new main bearings in it,according to the  manual ,the crankshaft bolts are not to be loosened. I've gotten hold of an AXP block  with a decent crank as mine is damaged. so what do i do now ?can i bolt my head onto the AXP block or do i take the crank from the AXP block and use it in my BCA block .the strange thing is i was onto a suppliers and he has all the bearings for the BCA crank in stock .has anybody ever heard of these units been overhauled ? thanks folks

I just got an engine block the code is AXP .can I just bolt on the head from the BCA engine along with the rest of the parts onto the AXP bottom end?
