What is it!!!!!!!

I have just purchased a 3 door mk1 rolling shell. It is in a rather fetching orange but was originally white.
I would put a pic on for the laugh but do not know how to - I cannot make up my mind what sort of restoration to do on it.

Chassis number ends DW630771
Log book shows it as 1780cc GTI

Any ideas if it is campaign or what? The sun roof is a sliding glass one and the screen has the sun strip - windows do not appear to be tinted.

Is the sunroof after market?
