VW Golf lx
Firstable i am sorry for bad English, cause i have forgotten almost all the grammar from school years :?
ok so from newbie topic to project. forum few years ago we(i and my father) bought vw golf mk1 LX, built in 1983. 1,5 l engine JB code and with some specific parts like arches gti, steering wheel,.. 270 000km on speedo
first day
after few days i bought Raceland sport seats and schroth seat belts
two sets of original Gti green glasses with doors and boot for 100lt so about (25 pounds)
firstable i had Ats classic r13 6j
nice wheels but to small in J
i found something nice
i wont show everything that i have done from fiberglass because everything was removed only one picture
another set of ats classic but now 7j ET20 i LOVE them
just for fun in white
and suddenly i understood that i dont need fiberglass in my car and firstable bought new fenders
Momo corse steering wheel and part that was needed to put that wheel into mk1
a little bit different rear view
metal works
i cant work without music
finally my friend came to help with welding, daily horses
later in the evening
and preparation for painting
after few weeks
happppyyy
strut brace home made
a little bit drop
photos, how it looks at the moment. Still exist much of work to do, but i am happy everytime i open my garage doors and see this car, also now are coming new front coilovers from Germany, because in Lithuania its hard to find specific parts for mk1

I like the fact that your tyres aren't very low profile, your car looks better for it. The ride must be fairly comfortable too. Looks great just out of the body shop, well done.
Looking for a series1 passenger side under dash shelf and fittings.

Thanks
now i have exam session so can only think about future works, and decide, put gti flares on arches or only small flares on rear arches, because at the moment car have too much body colour and small amount of black details for beautiful colour contrast and view and after session will end to make front upper and lower strut braces and make small and gti front spoilers molds from fiberglass, interesnting but in Lithuania small spoilers are more rare than gti and also with molds i dont need to worry about losing or crashing spoilers
i can't say that the ride is really comfortable with coilovers but of course 185/60 tyres give a little bit more comfort to me especially in bad condition roads and cause golf isfirst low car i have its very interesting to drive .The ride must be fairly comfortable too.

wow, good work. i wish my lx looked like that, the only thing left on it the same as mine is the dashboard lol.
spray job looks mint and the stance is crack on, loving the arches with no plastic on too.
