As far as i know, if you mean the underbody protection stuff, i think you need heat, a hot air gun (you can get them in diy shops) and a good old scraper and lots of time …
and yes stonechip`s good cos you can paint over it in the car colour afterwards.

my dad has just bought me a 34 weber, but its for a 1.1 so it needs re-jetting :banghead:

now my suspension is done so i can finally get some de-waxoyling done :D

although not this weekend, work work work :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

also, you've chosen the wrong place i think for your axle stand… i would put it where the wishbone meets the body.. directly back (ish) from where youve got it.. gets it out of the way 8)

i got some BOGE ones, but for coilovers you're probably better looking for either Bilstein or Eibach to be honest

I think it was Lawsy who has just done this - looked pretty tidy. Take a serach of his threads or it may be in the 'post a pic of your favourite MK1' thread?

Cheers

You could get the large GTI spoiler on the front panel and attached no plate to that, seen that done before

That 205 next to your MK1 looks in a bit of a mess! 8O

yeah mate thats sound a good idea just watching one of them front duck bill spoilers on ebay got 4 days left hope to get that and will see what it looks like chears mate mechanic coming up to sort the breaks out no pressure bleed them and no air but no pressure so when that sorted out will see what money got left for the spoiler and some low profile tyres for my alloys  :D  need some longer wheel nuts for my alloys so might go straight to 10 mm wheel spacers hits two birds with one stone wider stance then  :D

and the pug 205 thats mine sprayed it focus st orange because im a painter buy trade then sold it on ebay 2 weeks ago and the same day a speeding car not looking at the road plowed into me and riped the door post of the floor so dats a right off

so selling the bits of that to fund my mk1 golf the car i wanted in the first place but alls well that ends well i got my mk1 golf and getting the wings painted this week get them out of primer then move to the rear archs  will get away with reparing one side but the other i might have to weld a patch in we will see what lies behind them plastic gard  :dontknow:

It amazed me how much cack can get stuck to your inner arches!! Fills your lungs up!

Don't get too obsessed with discs unless you're putting a really potent motor in. I was - and was adamant that I would keep my rear discs after doing my resto. However, had a spin in chudds 8V and with rear drums the brakes are just as good!

It would save you some effort and ???!
