SA GT RESTORATION
This when i first got the GT
After totally stripping the car it was off to the p/beaters
With the new roof and the rust being all done in lead filling there was some hope.
After two months of hard work this is what it looks like.
With the body being prepared, i decided to get the motor planned.
This crazy idea of a manifold with ITB, and this is where all my problems started.
The project went on for 8 months.

i decided to go with the 1.9tdi crank 83.5 bore
while waiting for the bonnet i was determined to drive it
This is what the finish project looks like
I am very happy with the power 125 horses on the wheels and 187nm @4000rpm.
