If you want it re-trimmed Newton can do seats for about ?1000, the carpet you can fit yourself, that costs about ?150. The door cards are an issue as the Rivage design will be expensive to replicate. Newton do do a standard door card though but it's not leather.

The rivage is a limited edition model that they made, basically it has added extras like, leather seats, electric wondows and hood, big bumpers etc

To be honest the Rivage only added heated leather wheels and a decal to the standard GTI of the day but anyway, it all depends on what you want to spend, anything's possible.
Getting a complete interior for a Rivage is no problem at all and any trimmer worth his salt will gladly snatch a couple of Grand out of you pocket to knock up a replica as good as the original, so you shouldn't have too many issues there.
Just a thought but it might be worth getting a donor interior and selling the Rivage one you have on ebay, they can go for good money. Only problem with that is you wont have the heat elements in the standard seats but ya pays ya money…
Good luck and whatever you decide ppost up some pics of the results.

yeah sorry, some rivages don't have leather
I've always been confused about this. Didn't they only come in Green or Blue too! I think the leather was an option but as most buyers went with it people assume it was standard.
Not 100% sure.

Think this is a cool idea, though you might take a knock on what you get as you've that armrest/handle missing on the drivers door which is a shame. Looks tidier than most apart from that, you must be a bit of a perfectionist

8O Jeebus Cripes!
I know some of those cars are extremely questionable, but the quality looks great - especially the custom gear knobs.

The basic 'idea' behind the Rivage was so that consumers could have a car that was exactly what they wanted there was an exstensive 'extras' list consisting of alloy wheels leccy seats mfa ect ect thats why they vary so much from one to the other, the rarest are full leather ones and green is rarer than blue. So if you have a green with leather, chances are its quite rare (bearing in mind its original).

if you must have new leather sell your old interior and use doner seats that way you will get some money back and you can buy either mk4 golf seat pads (about?40 each you need 4) or a kit for about ?100 with carbon fibre pads that dont break that way you still keep heated seats 8)

there were two rivages avaliable one blue one green available from 91-93 the blue one was the rivage gti and had cloth interior but you could have the option of tan leather the green one was the "rivage leather" (still a gti though) it came standard with tan leather no cloth available and was the top of the range there were 470 blue ones made and only 252 green ones so they are now quite rare.(i know where TWO are)
