Caddys are awesome

As bensaid, get it low with some sweet rims..
I'd personally leave the body ratty tho as I think it'll look awesome that way

Post

thats the plan mate keep the body as it is and slam it and a shiney set of rims 13"s, does anyone know how hard it is to lower the rear

Post

from what I've heard its not to heard to do a cheap drop on the rear, think it involves flipping the axle and using blocks, but I aint an expert..

you can get lowering plates for the rear stub axles pretty crude way of doing it but looks good when done

hi just alittle update the bloke delivered it tonight and after a real good poke around i have found alittle problem in the name of rust, one saving grace is that there are only 2 areas to worry about the first is a 1" by 2" hole in the drivers foot well, the other is as pictured
does this look overlly worrying to anyone it goes in to the inner wing, but surprisingly is not the same the otherside that side is spot on anyone have any idea on cost to have this welded or anyone now of some one that could it in the buckingham area any help would be help full

just another side shot

Nice truck dude

Lowering the rear involves cutting off the mounts for the rear axle and then welding them onto the bottom of the axle, then the axle is mounted above the leaf springs. I think it's about a 6 inch drop or something like that.

You can then add lowering blocks between the leaves and the axles to lower it further as Lawsy mentioned.

Go here, all the info you'll need methinks.
