project no car to show car in 3 1/2 months

hey guys just about to build my mk1 into a show car for 2010 shows
so thought i would share it with you guys

as it started out


mk1 gti cab with full bbs kit







then out comes the spanners lol left it looking like this








they say you have to take the bad with the good lol   THERE RIGHT !!!!!!!!













Now its started so i have to finish lmao!!  gave myself a 3 1/2 months to get it all into the final master piece :wacko:

will hopfully get the engine out tonight

honestly couldnt tell you mate i bought it about 1 month ago just been real busy BUT now i have made a space for it

SO JUST TIME AND MONEY NOW LOL

UPDATE

engine ready to come out



and out it comes



interior removed



loads of untidy wiring lol



removed



fuel tank removed



panel removed  ready for smoooooothing




then it was getting cold so called it a day






weekend get all stript to bare metal and start repairs/smoothing

that bodykit was hiding some rot.
but it looks like you've got it under control, you've stripped the car  very quickly. good luck with the work on the car mate.

yeh was hiding a bit lol  ordered new front panel rear valance 2 rear arches then its shaving smoothing and getting it straight  as poss for ud 2010 lol  :mrgreen:

a small update lol


cut out all the rust  and got some new panels delivered



in place to see whats what as the dont make anything for a cab




welded on

a little lower and litle wider lol











then started on the door

these are in real bad condition so loads of metal prep needed and modding :yep:







just awaiting the arch roller from a guy on edition fking payed it last week and still not her e :scared:

then it will be onto repair work
