Hi there I would like to introduce myself I am Trevor have just bought my 1st mk1 cabriolet and have a lot to do however it does look like i have one with a good body, started on it today and have hit my first lot of problems with wiring in the engine being loose or broken so looks like ill be starting there to see if the engine is as good as it sounded when I bought and test drive the car. Have got pictures of the car but cant find how to put them on if someone can tell me would be great.

you will need a photo account like photobucket, just google it, you sign up and once you have your photos on your computer you can then upload them from your comp to the photobucket page you have created. Go to the mk1 owners page and decide what and where you are going to post IE "your cars and projects"Type your text "here is my latest project" for example and when you want to insert a photo go to your photobucket page and find the piccy you want to put in. left click it to bring it up in big size, there should be a box on the left SHARE THIS IMAGE and select the IMG CODE box by left clicking the mouse. The text should turn blue and a little box comes up saying copied. Return to your open page in your thread and then right click your mouse to paste. You will have a line of text in square brackets. Once you have done the text and piccies go to the preview box at the bottom of the poage and this will show you waht your thread will look like, if your happy just click submit.

Easy once you have had a go.

your halfway there mate, just click on the photo and go to the IMG CODE box and click it. it should say copied
just go back to your mk1 owners page and in your writing click again and go to paste, this should give you the writing in square brackets. I find it easier if I have 2 pages open in the internet browser so I can switch between the 2.
