Ooh no not again!

Opened the kitchen door this morning to let the dogs out & I found that the tarpaulin cover had blown away during the night!

The second time it's become flooded whilst parked up
Thankfully I had removed the seats

Seriously need to invest in building a garage, getting a new roof wont keep the Irish weather away from inside

OUCH :( I bought a great car cover for mine, was only ?10 from Argos and had elastic and hooks to attach it to the wheels. Stood up to the Cornish weather so should see you right!

1989 MK1 VW Golf GTi Cabriolet, 'All White Edition' - currently having a new blue roof fitted. Yes it's not white but it requires less Cif to clean :)

Just checked Argos.ie & this is priced at fifty four Euros & ninety nine cents!

I'm actually looking into building a metal frame for a garage, galvanizing the iron & insulating the metal cladding I plan to cover it with.
I've no idea how I'm going to concrete the floor inside though!

Sounds like a good idea, if you build it right then it should keep your mk1 nice and dry.

Dig a big hole - mix loads of concrete with big stones and keep filling the crap out of it - me and my dad did a long drive way for a camperback when I was about 13 -14 it still lives on!
