Newbies MK1 Project

Hi there people just joined the site after buying my first mk1 (owned 3 golf mk2's and currently got gti 8v)
Bought this for a good price, stored in a barn somewhere with not a lot of rust on it.
Here is what it was like when i bought it.

Planning just a 16v engine and keeping the origional looks. Just stripped it down to the bare shell today and taking the engine out soon, so if anybody needs any engine bits for a mk 1.3 driver give us a shout!

Looks like it's going to be a project an a half. Keep you busy over the winter!

Yeh keeping me busy, but i cant think of anything better to do on a freezing winter nights can you?
