new project tintop A71 NUR

hey guys, recently bought what is no more than a rolling shell as a replacement when i finally sell the cabrio. I will try get pics on soon but it needs a lot of work i.e sills bonnet doors roof repair full respray etc.

my thoughts are to paint it the new vw dark oak colour as i saw a transporter drive past the other day in the sun  

Im after advise as to what engie will be best to put in either the standard dx gti lump or the mk2 kr??????

If i opt for the kr which I am siding to, what will i need wiring looms/manifolds/gearbox/fuel system wise? I literally have nothing so not sure what to start buying.

any opinions appreciated

Well having just built a car from a shell I'd say good luck and expect to get you money out! Lol

cheers funkstar   i think the hardest thing is knowing exactly what is missing and making my mind up how i want it.

how long did yours take to build? im planning on getting the shell straight and painted for christmas then hope santa brings me loads of parts lol

I did my one with pretty much all new parts and it took around 2 months.
