Sills are http://www.perfectpanels.co.uk about ?22.00 each good but require a lot of fettling to fit correctly . I will be painting it my self using 2 pack in "Mars Red" with the correct breathing and extraction equipment .
I took this Mk1 off the road in August last year for a fuel leak !!! See you at Gaydon in September …. in it ?
Cheers Chudd……

On the caddy the Sill is in two parts as the rear section comes complete with the rear quarter panel and the front is a mk1 sill, i'm not replacing the rear quarter (you can only get them from VW and wouldnt even want to know what silly price they want for one  ). The only sills that goes near is a 4 door Mk1 Golf/Jetta sill which is what I am having to use altough its about 5" too short at the rear end, luckily though the main rot is in the front corner so I might just put the front half of the sill on, failing that i'll have to extend the sills.
I'll post photos up in my other thread on the caddy ( http://www.vwgolfmk1.o…ums&file=viewtopic&t=1691 ) but theres a couple on there already but if you look in the imagestation album you'll see where the drivers floor was split right along the full length of the inner sill if it wasnt for a bad patch someone had previously put on I think the drivers seat would of been through the floor  (oh i'm so looking forward to taking them off ) just hope the weather holds out for the weekend.
