new daily hack

i know its not a mk1 golf but its older than the one i already got

picked it up last weekend. spec is vw polo country 1.0l 4spd had full vw sh up to 38k and is a local car, bought from vw in harlow. mileage has just rolled over 82k though the pic shows 81k, completely standard and runs as sweet as nut, outside is not perfect but its like 20 years old and only cost ?250 wiv loads of mot and tax left on it

anyway, enuf gassin, pics:









plans are to keep it pretty much stock as its nice and comfy for a daily, maybe go for a 5spd box later for longer journeys.
mite also look into some stiffer springs as as comfy as it is, it is very wallowy (sp) and maybe put my 14" bbs on it just to see how it looks

i've got one too mate, i love the 4spd box! it's happy to sit in 4th at really low speeds, and isn't too bad on the motorway - maybe could do with an extra gear but with 1-4 kept the same and a super high 5th!

whatever you do, DON'T bring it to any meets with Lawsy. see billing photo threads…

looks a lot tidier than mine inside and out. mine's a little shed but i've got to admit, i do actually really enjoy driving it ops:

the suspension is very wallowy but i make do with it as i only really use it for driving to work and lugging stuff about in, they're actually the most practical car ever.

looking forward to seeing updates if you decide to do anything with it. they look really nice lowered on some nice wheels, although they look cool standard too.

i noticed  the sunglasses in the centre consul, is this part of the disguise you use when your out and about in it  



nice condition actually just watch out for black marker pen

Ha yeah, I picked my girlfriend up from work in it the other day and she said she only wants to be picked up in the golf from now on, lol
