New addition to the family!
I always loved the golf cabby's but never thought i would own one, but one day i thought sod that i will bite the bullet and go for it!
So here it is when i bought it
It sitting along side its younger brother which is my other project car and my daily driver 8O
As the cabby is going to be my summer fun car, me and my bro thought we would strip it down and give it a proper makeover. Luckily not found any rust yet, but im sure that will change! Its a bit daunting coz ive never done anything like this before and im not a mechanic, but its a good learning curve
This is how things are at the moment!

Sounds like a good base then for your project if you haven't found any rust yet. Starting to like cabbys now, nice example you got there.

Started taking the clipper arches and skirts off, and not found any rust at all which is brilliant! Slightly annoyed though coz one side has come off fairly easily but the screws on the other side are rusted solid and wont come off .
Gonna have to drill these ones out i guess
