my project finally started!

Hey everyone im new to this whole forum thing, guess ive just been busy working away on the mk1 recently. Ive basically had it for a few years drove it a bit then parked it up and after reading the tax disc recently and being shocked at just how long it been off the road i figured i better pull my finger out and get cracking on it and this is what ive been up to…..
when i had it about four years ago

after whippin the 1.3 out my first attempt at boxing the legs went a bit wrong

ditched the scuttle

after this i kinda stopped messing around and totally stripped the bay of everything cut pretty much everything out i didnt or in some cases did need (oops.) I re-weldes the legs, ditched the servo washer bracket bla bla bla and got my head down to try and get it back in paint.

Im up to the point now where ive painted the bay and got the engine in, ill upload some photos and get them up here soon and advice will be more than appreciated, thanks guys
I also just noticed the dude painting the van with a roller in the background hahaha thats my dad i wont be using one of those to paint the car
