this is my 1989 golf gti karmann clipper.


If only it was running , but last owner spent on it no matter what the cost , inc new gearbox,clutch,cambelt only 6 mths ago and has spent over £1700 in 1 year on it … ouch , then sold it to me for 300… bargain

Nice mate, but bloody hell £1700 in a year!!! they could have dropped a G60 in it for that! Whats up with it? have you had chance to make a diagnosis yet?

Just realised Ive posted on your other thread, filler neck being gone wont be helping it Id check that before getting stuck into the engine mate

yeah it had brand new mohair roof… then some twat cut it to break into it … un real he'd only just had it replaced, thats another thing i gotta fix…. gets wet when it rains
