My old Cabby GL...Pic found

I found a pic of my Mk1 Cabby I had when I got married in 1998….I traded it in for a new Lupo in 1999.  The Lupo was rubbish and soon went.  The cabby was a 1983 GL 1600 Auto in Champagne metallic…not a first choice colour!!!  Weird as I had a 1985 Scirroco GL in the same colour some years before….I tended to go for body condition when buying cars then…..

Looks really tidy. Do you miss it?

I think most of us miss cars we've got rid of….I was never quite happy with the colour….but it was a solid car…as good as it looks.  I wonder where it is now?  I traded it in at Corkills of Crosby, VW main dealer.
