My new mk1

Just bought a mk1…. and so the restoration begins…

I've just bought a silver mk1 golf with 185k on the clock.  The seller is putting it through an MOT before I hand over the rest of the cash (?300 deposit given).  It's silver, looks pretty good, interior is good and there a surface rust issues here and there (nothing major).  I will get soe pics up soon.  Took me about two months of searching to find this pretty unmolested one!!

hello, welcome t site.

Thanks everyone I'll take some pics in the next two weeks when I pick it up.  It's got rust on the engine mount arms at the front where they meet the front valance so need to get that sorted ASAP but the rest is pretty good.  Thanks for the replies.
