my new hood

well 600 miles later im at home having spent about ?80 on fuel which isnt to bad for a 20v in full flight at times

picked my new hood up mohair off course with matching red headlining and with loads of help from jamiegolf got it fitted a few pics here
hoping jamie got some of the finished item   i didnt as i was looking forward to the drive home on the country roads to much to notice

slight problem with the strut mounting the ram had come adrift and bent it all over the shop

Looking good there mate, is that burgundy or red! I hope to get mine sorted soon and I'm opting for burgundy, probably.

burgundy mohair i got it secondhand but its like new tbh realy makes a difference to the car the old hood was about half the size it should have been  

So did you buy the whole roof second hand and frame etc?Do you think its easier to do this?I like all the chrome on that fella!

got the hood frame and headlining all in one it was the cheaper option wouldnt have done that if it had been vinyl but the mohair looks like new so well chuffed

i like chrome can you tell

piece of cake until the 10mm ratchet spanner decide to hide for an hour fianly found under the black plastic shiled in the boot
