my mk1 project long awaited !

hi everyonee have bin rummaging through this forum for a long time wating for the right mk1 to bump into and a cupple of weeks back i struck lucky on ebay .    i went and viewed the mk1 regulars will reconise it as aposegils! old mk1 . but its mine now and i am going to complete it .so heres a cupple pictures of my progress enjoy!

towing eye filled over and a rust patch cut out welded , ground and filled over











the boot is pritty tidy aswell



new arches have bin welded ground down and filled in!

both front wells tetrosealed and suspension, disk and caliper removed having problem taking the trackrod ends off you need a special tool to remove them dont you ? and im having problem getting the wishbones off of the hubs ? so i can replave them with gti wishbones and anitroll bar !

one of the turbos um its a t3 which is a wee bit big for the job at hand so will be looking for a t25  soon

so this is the start will be posting again soon .

the parts i need know are

256mm disk
gti pump and tank
a nice black cloth interior prefer recaro or carrado style !

and one more queston would this be the first mk1 golf g40 turbo in the uk ? thanks
