MY MK1 GOLF LOOKs RUDE

THIS IS MY FIRST EVER CAR AND PROJECT. SHE IS A 1983 GOLF MK1 1.8 GTI. I BOUGHT HER ABOUT 2 MONTHS BACK.

WHEN I BOUGHT HER SHE HAD BEEN SORN FOR ABOUT A YEAR. SHE IS STILL CURRENTLY SORN.

SHE IS BEAUTIFUL, WHEN I BOUGHT HER SHE HAD BEEN RESPRAYED PEARLESCENT PURPLE LOWERED WITH NEW SHOCKS AND SPRING AND HAD A FULL STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST SYSTEM. APPARENTLY THE SELLER HAD PAYED ?2500 FOR THE RESPRAY.

MY PLANS WERE TO RIP THE 1.8 AND PUT A 1.1 IN BUT I THOUGHT SOD THAT, I JUST DO HER UP TRACK STYLE WITH A CARBON HOOD AND PLASTIC WINDOWS AND BUCKET SEATS AND REBUILT THE ENGINE AND GEARBOX. AND GET A RUN AROUND CAR UNTIL I CAN AFFORD THE INSURANCE BECAUSE I'M ONLY 16 SOON TO BE 17.

THIS IS GONNA BE ALONG PROJECT 1 BECAUSE OF COST.

17 myself, and golfs are a brilliant first car, and it looks like youve got summat special.

tbh, im not one for the colour, bodykit, or that dodgy wing mirror, but somehow they suit each other :dontknow:

Keep up the good work!  I always fancied a Cadburies Purple Mk1 with a kit on it.  Nearly bought one about 12 years ago.
