my mk1 1.6 gti project

hi all this is going to be a long time project but she is gonna be wort it
my cousin has given me this gti a few months ago and have finally managed to get it to swansea from peterbourgh last weekend
nothing much done yet but first off is to get it running as its been hidden for 13 years lol

Cool, your doesn't look much different to mine condition wise. I was gonna do mine too but it would take me forever and I'm not very patient lol.

Are you doing a nut and bolt concours d'elegance restoration job or more of a renovation to get it road worthy and reliable?

Depends on how far I go in the next couple of months the engine is gonna be coming out to paint the engine bay
So when it's out is the time I will be either saying let's do this or that will do lol we will see

Nice looking project that mate, I went to look at a golf identical to this in Dudley Birmingham,even had the same wheels and was in the condition yours is in  :dontknow:
