My Lhasa Valver.

To Start with the original build from the guy that did the conversion is here.

A few photos from when i first got the car.

I fitted the carpets, rear bench and lower half of the dash to make it a bit more useable on the road.
Then swapped the cheap gauges for my vdo's out of my last mk1.

It now also has a vacuum, water temp and wideband gauge. I still need to get the correct sender for the water temp gauge as wiring it to the existing one for the clocks did not seem to make it work. Anyone know the thread type needed on a kr head??

The next little job was to fit softer springs to my GAZ coilovers that were on the red mk1, as the ride was far too crashy for the roads, then replace the gmax that came on the car with them. Here is how it sits now.

I get bored easily, and having been a fan of motorsport white wheels for a while i painted mine.

A quick polish on the first really nice day of the year last week.

Plans are;
Replace the kr lump with a 9a and fit the gas flowed head i have sat in the cupboard.
Eibach ARB's to finish off the handling mods.
Perspex windows.

A few photos of my pevious mk1's. As sad as the red one looks i came out quids in on the insurance, hence being able to afford my current one:D
I was however close to crying when i was awoken to find this.

How it looked before.

And the one that started the mk1 love affair.
