My first project G60 Turbotechnics

Ok i am learning as i go along but so far so good! My MK1 started life as a scruffy and tired GTI i decided to have a respray done and basically stripped it down to the bare esentials.I was going to go for all original refurb and have it looking like new but decided the original laser green was a bit dull, not only this but was pretty sure in no time i would get bored of the standard engine so have done the brave one and started a (seemingly endless) project!
So far i have the uprated 16v brakes + servo and scirocco 16v rears, i still need to sort the suspension out. I have a G60 low compression engine with G60 cable change box and an original turbotechnics kit from 1983. my plan is to run the G60 on the mechanical k jet system with the mechanical design turbo- i can see i may have a few teathing problems but in theory it should all work- i also have some original large GTI engineering injectors which should fit nicely.
I am thinking it may be an idea at a later date to run the g60 ECU but this is something i need to research!
The reason for the turbo is i like them and i got the complete Technics kit a while back which has never been used-  not only this but its a nice unusual mod, something for the shows.
Anyway so far this is where its at! currently i am on it about a day a week due to work but hopefully should be out and about in a few months.

Any opinions or advice received with thanks.

I agree with the others /\ that colour is very nice indeed. Reminds me of a BL colour called Applejack, top 70s colour.

No offence ,great colour very understated will look good with chrome side trims, small bumpers or is that to predictable and over done these days?not that I ever profess to having a clue with what is "scene"these days!!

Speeding is like masturbation, everyone does it ,but it's not something you should record and put on the internet!!

Lovely colour that

Doubt he's going for small bumpers it still has the holes in the wing for normal bumpers. Get some chrome trim bumpers and chrome side strips and it will look lush
