Hi Andy!! Nice meeting you today, hope you went ok with the wheels and your all sorted!! :)
Re your trim, I know of a trimmers that can get hold of ORIGINAL VW cloth for almost all trims, maybe yours??
I do know a few people for most things (discount, rare bits etc…) so if you need a heads up just send a txt or gis a bell mate!!
I should of mentioned before but I have 2 books i'm selling (just not listed em yet), a Haynes Mk1 manual and Mk1 restoration book.
Both retail at 20 each new, fancy em for 20 all in inc post if you wanna send a cheque over??
No pressure on anything mate, just happy to help people out if I can.
Good luck with the build, i'll look out for updates!!

Been doing a few more parts and the seats where retrimmed using good
material from another seat to make two good seats

Steering Rack before and after

Seats are a bit dusty at the moment but i am sure you can see what i am trying to achieve with the
car but these things take time and hard work:cry:

Did all the prep for the re-spray in my garage at home. The car required new rear arches,
rear lower valance, new metal to lower inner arhes, holes both sidesof the windscreen where
the rubber meets the scuttle, hole where rubber seal fixs rear windscreen, rot in floor pan
passenger side.Bought a New bonnet and found a New Gen drivers door .
