My first golf project

Hi I live in Northampton; I've just purchased my first mk1.
I picked it up from Croydon and it needs some work it is a 79 1.1 4 speed, 5 door with 45k miles with a nearly full history with loads of mots.





It needs some work:
I will be replacing both front wings and getting it a new paint job in the same colour.





The gear linkage needs new bushes, needs a good service as its been stood for at least 12months. I have fitted a new battery today and had it running; it's running a bit rough.
Will be posting more as and when.
