i'd take a guess at its a vacuum, try your air box

not air box but theres a 'plug' on the green ball with nothing going to it..!?

got the braided hoses and silicon vaccum pipe on now, pluss moved the clutch cable to the back of the bay

latest update, will ad another tomorw with the Magnecor leads on, if they arrive that is

walked into the local vw dealer yesterday..im thinking of getting a mk5, so probably selling the mk1..would anyone be interested and whats it worth?
anyone who knows the car from other threads will know how origonal it is, the steels are still on but those alloys will come with it and all the origonal vaccum hose and fuel hose are in a bag in the garage so easily swapped back by anyone who doesnt like red  :wink:

Mk 5 ? brother inlaws is costing him a fortune mainly due to the dignostice system telling him he needs to do this that and the other when in reality its running smooth.
Hoping to get my cab up together I think I have got my work cut out!
