my 1991 clipper cab 1.8i

well just got this cab back after 4 years and went to work in it today for the first time..what a shed… :?
the suspension and steering is totally clapped out..i darednt go over 60mph.
it looks nice but needs a fair bit of work…
i´ll post a few pics soon..
wheres the best place to buy new suspension parts?
im going to replace all bushes,bearings,and the shocks to start with.

alrite mate, probs the best place is ebay or your local scrap yard or on any of the forums

just replaced the same parts on mine. Got the lot off Ebay. Worked out ok money wise.

I got bits off here from people upgrading to coilovers/with spares left over. Cheap and sorted, the rest of the car is still a nuisance though

cheers chaps,ive done the rear wheel bearings now and 4 new shocks on the way,there was a new steering rack fitted last year and the garage left the bottom engine mount loose!!!! so its been hanging bad on the 3 others and will have to replace them as well,something on the right hand side makes a crunchy noise on the move so will have to investigate. how can i tell what bhp its got ,has a twin staged butterfly in the throttle neck…'
