Mk1 US cabrio

Hello to all,

I am a big passionate of Golf 1, i am from Romania, and i have 27 years old.

My car is a Mk1 cabrio, US 87 model. When i first saw this car, 3 years ago, it was love at first sight, and after one year it was mine.

The option that car have, are:

-power steering
-air conditioning
-tempomat - not working
-the small windows from the door that are opening
-heated front seats
-white leather

Because is a US model, i have problems to get original parts, from the VW Romania, but this another topic.

What i want to do with this car, is to restore from zero, and to keep the original lines, the original wheels, the original interior. At this time, the car is a the painter workshop. One short summary is that i cleaned complete the car.

I have some problems with the tempomat option: is not working. the first part from the cable mileage is broken, and i dont know how to fix it, or to get a new one, because i cant found on the internet. My motor cod is JH.

If there is someone which have this option, and can help me, please write on my topic.
