mk1 rebuild
Started this one last year
Stripped it to bare metal replaced panels/bit of welding
floor stripped primed painted and waxoiled
here it is at the mo in etch primer
just got to get busy now!

will paint the engine bay and inside the car first
then want to get it on its wheels and check arch work is right

There were a few rust bubbles starting on the passenger door but i resprayed that aswell along with the engine bay, scuttle panel etc.

its now in high build primer
started wet sanding (takes ages)
i put a post in modifications i want to run a modified 2.0 8v on twin dellortos
anyone done the same need advise on carbs fuelling etc
will post more pics soon

Slow progress ,its on wheels again, all suspension brakes etc on
been smoothing the engine bay, thats took ages
decided on a new colour dakota beige metallic its a 2008/9 audi tt colour
should get some spare time soon
Hows DHG50W anyway ?

Mines still going strong. Nothings changed really but hopefully after next weekend I'll have the new dash in etc.
