mk1 project-2.0 ABF

hello everyone
thought id share my project with you all
had a mk1 previous to this.an A reg 4 door in blue 1.1 formel e,engine was knackered and decided i didnt want a 4 door.after owning it for about 2 to 3 years and driving it for around 6 months.i sold it
after owning a few other dubs,realised i needed another mk1.and this time a good one.
enough babble,here it is when i picked it up for £0   ….and less than a mile away  8O

the front panel,bent
no lights,wings,seats,steering wheel,headlining,any engine bits-even loom,
fuel tank,it was completely bare
but you cant complain wen its free



















studs in rear beam were also snapped on the n/s so that waggled about a bit  :roll:

got it home and started the collection.sourced loads of parts so far.
as it stands now it has a new front panel,new wings.
forza corbeau buckets with lukes harnesses,
mountney steerin wheel,black carpets
and the dash put back together

the engines getting put together now.iv ported and polished the head,
now it needs skimming.will need an inlet manifold for the bike carbs.and an ashley 4 branch.engine mount is sorted now too.

Looks muchhh better than when you got it! Good work! . Are the centres of those wheels pink? Or is it just me lol.

the wheels are kinda pink,im refurbing them now.and they look  8)
i havnt seen many 3 doors in this colour,if any
dare i say rare?? sure iv seen em on 5 doors with chrome trim
if anyone knows the colour code that would be a great help for the respray in the summer

I think its regatta blue, I'm sure someone can confirm!
