Needs a bit of work but it is 24 years old so its to be expecteced!
Model:Mk1 Caddy
Engine:1.6d 4 speed
Suspension: Unsure at present
Brakes:standard
Colour: Mars Red apparanly a rare colour for a caddy?
Wheels and Tyres:17" momo, and orignal steels, with prellie tyres all round
Exterior Styling: checkerplate bed, soon to be taken out and be re-done proper .bully net on rear, some plonker checkerplated the rear tailgate
Interior Styling: gti interior, no carpet but came with mk1 golf gti carpets
ICE and Security: kenwood 10 disc changer, remote locking
Comments: Its a 1986 mk1 caddy, needs a new passanger side wing totally rusted thu, the bit at the windscreen sorting but within time will be done, i know a good welder that im hoping will do that bit for me,
MOT'd till end of feb, no tax
Future plans: Unsure yet, but sorting the bodywork out is main thing and then a respray, iv sourced a matching red interior with seats door cards and carpet  also going to be going the the teledials soon, so the 17"s might be up for sale if anyones interested in them lol

Well major things have happened since last update, Caddy came off the road at the end of december as the gearbox was failing and major eletrical problems with things and wouldnt of gone through another MOT with out major work,
Was always my plan to take it off the road at somepoint and get a bodyshop to do all the major work but after getting several quotes its not fessiable to do it that way SO iv decided to do most of the work my self and learn as i do it, will take a lot longer but the rewards will be more satisifing at the end
So on with the pictures
Started by stripping the checker plate out the rear and knocking the shit filler out the roof
Next came most of the stripping
took the dash board out to find a whole hoast of bodged cables!
removed what wasnt needed
Removed the rear and front screen
Removed wings bumpers ect
Engine taken out
Did some surgery to the front bulkhead
Then found Some lovey rust,
Inner wing drivers side
Cut some rust out. Just got to fix it all now!
Had a go at making a new piece but couldnt get it to go right so im on the hunt for a new/replacment bit to cut and weld in!
And thats as far as iv got atm
