Have you put it on the register? It didn't come up when I searched for it.

Thanks, yi its in pretty good nick for a 25 year old car.

I put it on the register now.

Milage has just turned 140k.

That is lovely…. almost propelled me to give mine a wash… but frankly the dirt on mine covers up a lot of badness!!!

Yi my Golf was a bit grubby when i picked it up so wasn't sure what was lurking behind the dirt! Gave it a quick clean the other night and thankfully there were no nasty surprises.  :D

Most of the bird crap is structural i think on mine!!!

Out of curiosity with them both being silver campaigns i wonder how close together they were built?   Chassis number on mine ends 95689…..

would be a cool plate for a 76 lhd car! Not that you would be able to fit a newer plate on a old car.

Nice and clean motor! Did you buy this of a guy on edition 38?

Nope, I bought from a girl in Aberdeenshire where it has spent most its life, previous to that it was in the Glasgow area for a while but was originally from Humberside.

mine is 73284 so not that close… registered in November 1983.
