mk1 golf soft top vr6

brought this a couple of months ago with out even seeing it,always fancied a vr6 powered mk1 or 2 and this one came up so thought why not,for almost a thirty year old car its not doing to bad,ended up going down the "less is more" route so have completey striped it down and will be triming the inside and doing away with thw back seats etc and triming it the same way i have done my t4 van etc,done away with the glass rear window and have replaced the glass and metal frame with a vibac back window,vr6 mk3 leather seats replace the red stripe gti ones which i now have for sale if anyone wants a set,have had to carry out some welding etc like a cover sill on the drivers side,end of the sills,jucked the drum rear axel in favour of a disc axle,up front the complete subframe brakes engine,gearbox,power steering with been fitted from a 97 plate mk3 golf,still got loads to do to it but its getting there,will post up pics as and when

looking good, vr will be a bit mad, do you not think it will be a bit nose heavy though?

oh, and where are you, i be interested in the seats, and anything else your getting rid off, providing i can get it to fit in my tintop
